My summer job 2021, 2022 and 2023!
DESCRIPTION
Patàpain (until 2011 Pat-à-Pain) is a French fast food chain, founded in 1984 in Bourges by François Prely, founder of the company France Restauration Rapide. In 2020, it has 52 restaurants mainly located in central and western France.
MY EXPERIENCE
My job at PatAPain as a salesman/preparer consisted of preparing a restaurant in order to best welcome customers. That is to say, to prepare the premises for the customers or the staff but also the shelves or the push, the saladette (in kitchen).
The other part of the work consisted in exchanging with the customer in order to advise him at best according to his desires, his tastes.
These tasks rely on concentration and seriousness in order not to forget anything in the preparation, not to forget any steps or tasks to be carried out, but also on relational skills for the exchanges with the customers.
PatAPain is therefore for me a very enriching professional experience, because it allows me not only to discover the fast food industry, to prepare a restaurant for the clientele or the staff members of the day/next day, to manage a lot of things at the same time, but also to develop the relational side which is obviously useful in the world of work and all the more so in the field of IT!
